Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith and more stars attended a launch event for the upcoming “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte” in Los Angeles on Thursday. The red carpet occasion featured cast members from the new series, as well as stars from the “Star Wars” universe.

Amandla Stenberg
Amandla Stenberg opted for method dressing for the launch event for “The Acolyte” on Thursday. Stenberg embraced draped fabric in a black crepe dress from Oude Waag‘s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The garment featured twists of fabric and ripples around Stenberg’s figure, creating a sensual, yet commanding look.
Stenberg also fashioned a monochrome ensemble by Acne Studios for the launch event. The tan-hued look featured long, low-rise trousers and a cropped, exaggerated turtleneck with long sleeves. Stenberg’s looks paid homage to the actor’s work in “The Acolyte.” Stenberg’s hair was styled by Vernon Francois with makeup by Samuel Paul. Both looks were curated by stylist Chris Horan.
Jodie Turner-Smith
Jodie Turner-Smith electrified the red carpet in an electric blue Armani Privé dress. The actress accessorized her look with Bulgari’s Serpenti necklace. Her look was curated by Wayman Deon and Micah McDonald.
Carrie-Anne Moss
“The Matrix” star Carrie-Anne Moss attended “The Acolyte” launch event in a futuristic off-white shirt dress with sheer black tights and coordinated black pointed toe heels. The long-sleeve frock featured suit-like elements, including a collar and lapels.
Dafne Keen
Dafne Keen opted for a sleeveless, high-neckline look for her ensemble at “The Acolyte” launch event. The actress fashioned a floor-length dress in a mocha hue, with futuristic jewelry pieces, including bold bracelets and earrings. She completed the ensemble with a pair of sandal heels.
Charlie Barnett
Charlie Barnett elevated his suit with a long, dark gray blazer, coordinated trousers and a black shirt. He accessorized his ensemble with a silver chain necklace and completed the look with square-toe black loafers.

“The Acolyte,” created by Leslye Headland, is a mystery-thriller that takes “Star Wars” fans into the final days of the High Republic era. The dark side of the force begins to take its hold, and Jedi across the galaxy must fight to survive as one Jedi and their former Padawan discover the mysteries of a new menacing power. “The Acolyte” premieres on Disney+ on June 4.
