Yahoo News 'All Stars 8's Heidi N Closet & Kahanna Montrese Online Feud Explained
It’s not personal, it’s just ‘Drag Race All Stars’!

The RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 fight between Heidi N Closet and Kahanna Montrese was clearly not resolved during their time filming the season.
It all started when Montrese felt like N Closet was “punching down” on her while she struggled with her Snatch Game performance. On one hand, N Closet felt like she was just setting up Montrese to volley jokes back and forth with her, which is how the Snatch Game works. On the other hand, Montrese claimed that she was already struggling to keep up with the game, so throwing jabs at her only make the situation feel worse.
In the werk room, Montrese confronted N Closet about what happened in the Snatch Game, which seemed to completely take the season 12 Miss Congeniality by surprise. Then, Kandy Muse confronted N Closet about things that had been said to Jimbo behind her back. In the end, N Closet felt completely cornered and decided to quit the competition.
This week, it became clear that Montrese and N Closet still had a lot of unfinished business between them, which spilled into social media exchanges for all Drag Race fans to see.

The very first indication of this drama started with a since-deleted tweet from Montrese that read:
“Good girl gone bad! I’m the right one to play with! #imcomingforyou feel me with your hate I will turn it into my strength!”
N Closet responded with, “Liking this tweet from Norway.”

Montrese promptly replied to N Closet’s tweet, writing:
“Don’t nobody care About you being in Norway girl! I’m working the world hoe! Doing my own gigs in between. When you have your own home, good credit, [and] that gingivitis halitosis breath fixed, then I’ll be impressed!”
N Closet then quote-tweeted Montrese’s post with the message:
“Girl, Kahanna ‘Crimson Chin Montrese’ you live in Vegas the house market is cheap I could afford a house there. I’ll fix my credit when you fix that drooping ass. I took a sh*t in a parking lot and it got more press than you girl bye.”
Later, N Closet shared a few screenshots of text messages between her and Montrese. The first screenshot showed the following text messages:
N Closet: “It just hurts because when you were in the hallway sad after Snatch Game before we had to do confessionals I was the one that came and checked on you and gave you a hug and told you everything was going to be ok”
N Closet: “But have a nice day”
Montrese: “Be very careful with me! Full threat”
N Closet: “What do you mean by that?”
Montrese: “The sub tweets directed towards me”
Montrese: “If you wanna play we can!”
N Closet: “Ain’t nobody playing with you girl”
Montrese: “Just remember what I said”
N Closet: “Girl don’t be threatening me”

The fourth screenshot showed the following text messages:

Twitter user @AfroBlondBarbi re-posted a video of Montrese that was retweeted by N Closet. The season 11 star said in the video:
“[You’re] trying to gaslight these people because you’re so good at playing the victim. And I’ll give you that, you’re an actress, so you got that over me. But I’m a real ass b*tch. When I tell you I’m coming for you, it is what it is. It’s on sight.”

Montrese first backtracked on the way she handled this situation with N Closet in a tweet that read:

I’m a fun-loving person and I’m gonna choose joy in everything I do going forward. I love you guys that keep things positive y’all inspire me to do better!”

Two days later, on Wednesday, June 14, Montrese tweeted out an official peace offering:
“I’m the type of person I’ll take critique, admit when I’m wrong, and I’m down for a healthy debate. The way I handled things with Heidi was wrong. For so long I’ve been silenced & not taken [seriously], & I blew up I reached my breaking point. This has been a dark period for me.”
The season 11 star concluded, “I’m finding my light and reminding myself I’m not the same person from season 11! I came to All Stars for a fresh start. I deserve to give myself and you guys my best!”
