Stars wow with daring, sculptural decolletage: Sydney Sweeney, Camila Mendes

Fashion is always an art form — especially on these sculptural styles recently spotted on red carpets. Sydney Sweeney, Chrissy Teigen, Camila Mendes and Taylor Russell all found ingenious ways to style bespoke hardware and daring silhouettes, making unconventional pieces look effortless.

First up: We have to hand it to Sydney Sweeney. The actress looked “Immaculate” in a museum-worthy Balmain breastplate at the LA premiere of her new convent horror flick. Sweeney framed the ’fit with slicked back hair and tailored trousers — a masterclass in styling statement pieces.

Meanwhile, “Riverdale” rockstar Camila Mendes turned heads at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The actress — who recently played the leading lady in boyfriend Rudy Mancuso’s directorial debut “Musica” —  chose a black velvet Tamara Ralph couture gown that hugged her curves, from the mermaid skirt right up to the stunning bodice of golden roses.

Also attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, model Chrissy Teigen opted for an optical illusion in mesmerizing Oscar de la Renta. The sleek, silver gown with clever cut-outs and matching jewels created a defining fashion moment.

Finally, “Bones and All” babe Taylor Russell showed off a sequined, sculptural Loewe look at the 2023 Fashion Awards. As Global Ambassador for the brand, Russell has worn Loewe for many of her most iconic fashion moments — though this piece may look more like a loan from MoMA.
