State of Emergency Declared in Brooklyn as Up to 5 Inches of Rain Floods New York

Torrential rain in New York triggered flash flooding in Brooklyn on Friday, September 29, as a state of emergency was declared.

Emergency management officials reported up to five inches of rainfall in parts of New York, including Brooklyn, and said several more inches are expected.
