A luxury steam train journey can be an incredibly special day out for couples, friends, and families. A day out that includes a celebratory lunch for those marking a special occasion on a classic vehicle, what more could you want?

This May Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday, May 26, passengers will have the chance to indulge in a Sunday lunch like no other to Stratford-upon-Avon. Travellers can enjoy the plushness of the Pullman carriage seat in stunning surroundings while being served.

The Vintage Trains will run outward via Dorridge and pass through Solihull while staff attend with a drinks service and the first starter course at around 1pm. The main course will be served as the train approaches Birmingham Snow Hill where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings and also see the locomotive.

The return journey will go through the Shakespeare line via Henley-in-Arden, with rolling fields, lakes, rivers, and even a canal aqueduct visible from your window. Desserts will be served near the journey's end, returning to Stratford-upon-Avon at around 3pm. Travellers can then enjoy a Sunday stroll through William Shakespeare's place of birth.

The trip includes a steam-hauled trip from Stratford-upon-Avon of around two hours, as well as a three-course Sunday lunch meal. Drinks are available to buy from the waiters on the day.

In the Pullman carriage, passengers are sat around tables of either two or four, and is the most luxurious and glamorous of all seating options with comfortable seating, services, space, and views. There is a supplement per person for tables of two and the prices depend on the train service.

Tickets are now available from £90 on the Vintage Trains website.
