The steam train ride through spectacular Kent countryside where you can try delicious gins and enjoy live jazz

This is an evening of gin tasting, a live jazz band and a freshly-prepared ploughman's supper with a ride through spectacular Kentish countryside. The "gin, jazz and steam" event features the Ruby Robinson Quintet which will ensure guests' toes are tapping as they relax into this perfect evening event.

There are 12 gins to choose from on the night and a selection of Fever-Tree mixers along with garnishes. When you arrive at the Spa Valley Railway at the West Station in Tunbridge Wells, you can enjoy the performance of Ruby Robinson, who has sung in such prestigious venues as Soho's Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Piccadilly's Crazy Coqs and the West End's Cafe de Paris.

You will have your first gin and tonic from Kent's Anno distillery with its famous dry gin. Once you have climbed aboard the steam train, sit back and enjoy the journey through the High Weald countryside, as you head to Eridge Station.

During the journey there is a freshly prepared ploughman's and a second gin and tonic, featuring a damson gin from Kent-based Copper Rivett Distillery. Alight at Eridge to enjoy another live set from the jazz quintet performing on the station platform before getting back on the train to return to Tunbridge Wells.

The jazz will continue back at the station and guests can buy more drinks, and eat their quintessentially English dessert of Eton Mess as the train embarks on another return journey before arriving back at Tunbridge Wells West.

The event is on Saturday, June 15 and guests should arrive at 6.30pm. The train returns to the station between 9.30pm to 10pm.
