SteelSeries Launches Lunar New Year Edition Arctis Nova 7 Gaming Headphones

SteelSeries is gearing up to commemorate the upcoming Lunar New Year with a special edition of its Arctis Nova 7 gaming headphones inspired by the dragon, one of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals.

The Arctis Nova 7 Dragon Edition headphones arrive in a customary red and gold motif, colors that symbolize prosperity and fortune, respectively, in Lunar New Year tradition. Furthermore, the special Year of the Dragon edition headset was designed by a group of SteelSeries staff with Chinese and Taiwanese heritage, reflecting the brand's desire to honor the culture in a personal and authentic manner.

All of the features and the elite performance that fans of the brand have to come expect from its hardware have found their way into this version of the Arctis Nova 7. The headphones connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, as well as having a lower-latency 2.4GHZ option via a USB dongle, and these can be used simultaneously for a multi-point connection. They're also capable of wired use and pack a beefy battery that provides an impressive 38-hours of usage. They can be fast-charged via USB-C and – for those without time on their side – a mere 15 minutes plugged in to power will provide around 6 hours of gameplay time. Those looking to knuckle down for longer sessions will find the breathable AirWeave Memory Foam ear pads some of the most comfortable out there and, thanks to the onboard ComfortMax System, users can adjust their headphones in four different ways to better fit their anatomy. Like any decent headset out there today, active noise canceling is available for those looking to block out all external noise and totally submerge themselves in their game.

The Arctis Nova 7 Dragon Edition headphones are available for pre-sale now and launch worldwide at select retailers and the SteelSeries website on January 22, priced at $199 USD.
