Reality TV personality Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for sharing a private video of him having sex with his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison on his OnlyFans website.

The reality TV star, 33, was filmed on his CCTV system having sex with Harrison, 28, in his garden in August 2020.

He was found guilty of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

When arriving for the sentencing hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday he told reporters that it "wasn't a fair trial."

He was dropped off a distance from the court and walked up the road with his fiancee Jessica Smith, before stopping for Smith to apparently film a video of him speaking on her phone.

Wearing a black coat and dark sunglasses, Bear then posed for a selfie with a girl, asked if anyone else would like a selfie and began to sing Lady In Red.

He waved and made peace signs to reporters and photographers as he walked into the court building.

Bear, a former Ex on the Beach contestant and Celebrity Big Brother winner, said he made £40,000 in two months on OnlyFans after uploading the video without his then-girlfriend's consent.

Harrison, known for her appearances on Love Island and Only Way Is Essex, said she had no idea they'd been filmed, and despite Bear's assurances he'd deleted the footage, she later discovered it was being circulated online.

How Georgia Harrison spoke out for victims of revenge porn

Victims of any kind of sexual offence in the UK are automatically granted anonymity, meaning the media can't reveal their identities.

However, Harrison decided to waive this legal right and speak out about her experience.

She added that her anonymity was “taken away almost immediately” as “many people were aware of the video”.

Speaking to ITV's Good Morning Britain in December, she said discussing what happened to her could help people realise the devastating impact that revenge porn has.

She said: “I had just suffered in silence with the fear of it surfacing for so long that when it finally did, I just thought, not only do I want to take a stand for myself, but I want to do it for other women and men, because … people do not realise the effect it has on people.”

Harrison told the show she was “was very, very upset” about seeing the footage the first time but hoped it would stay private.

Describing the moment she was first sent a screenshot of the video from "somewhere in America", she said: "The world just sort of fell beneath my feet and I knew it had gone global.

“To be honest, I really did hide myself in a room for a long time. Everywhere I went, people were speaking about it.

“I did feel hurt, humiliated, ashamed and I felt very used, that you could love and trust someone and know in that moment, that you thought was a moment of love, was really a moment of making money for them and I just think it took a long time for me to get to this point.”

In a victim impact statement read after the jury's verdict at Chelmsford Crown Court, Harrison told how her past two years have been "absolute hell" but that she hoped her ex's conviction would help her start "embracing the future".

Harrison told GMB how non-consensual sharing of sexual content is "more rife" than people could "ever imagine" and that she is regularly contacted by people looking for help.

She added: “What I want to say to men … (and) young boys is it is not a good thing to do, you will be publicly shamed. It’s unacceptable.”
