A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the brother of a London rapper was stabbed to death in Essex.

Stephen Morrison, 30, collapsed after staggering into a petrol station suffering knife wounds following a clash between two groups in Epping New Road.

Following his death the victim’s other brother - the rapper Jon Morrisson, 33 - posted on Instagram: “Rest in peace my brother my friend my twin Stevo I’m gonna miss you bro.”

His other brother, Joey Morrison, is an ex boyfriend of The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger.

A 34-year-old man was being questioned on suspicion of Mr Morrison’s murder today after being stopped while driving in Hackney, east London.

He was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers on suspicion of murder and possession of cannabis following the stop at about 4pm yesterday, before later being transferred into Essex Police custody.

Two other people, a man and a woman, who were arrested in connection with the investigation in the early hours of yesterday morning, have both been released on bail until Tuesday 28 July.
