Steps' 20th anniversary comeback has been pretty triumphant so far. 'Scared of the Dark' is a dramatic stampede of a song with a key change to die for, while album Tears on the Dancefloor is full of colossal sad-bangers that could all be hit singles in a parallel universe where the singles chart hasn't gone to ruin.

But the group has wisely chosen the best song from the album as single number two: 'Story of a Heart'.

Written by ABBA's Benny and Björn and originally included on one of the former's solo projects, the track sees an older and more mature Steps channel the iconic Swedish group more than ever before, and now the music video for the song has finally been released, for your viewing pleasure:

Just as the song is a flashback to a time when songs had melodies and choruses with words, the video is devoid of hipster quirkiness and those pink and blue hues you see in everything.

Instead we see the group looking wistfully off-camera in some fields, like in the music videos of old. Faye's outfit is even colour co-ordinated with the flowers behind her.

The group also take on us a trip down memory lane, digging out some old props and outfits and pulling off the old dance routines, before sitting down and enjoying a couple of glasses of the good stuff – and not for the first time this reunion. Are Steps secretly the hardest-drinking band in British music right now?

Following a performance that divided viewers earlier this week, opinion has been a lot more positive for the video (which is correct), although some felt the video's tone and dance routine didn't fit perfectly with the heartfelt song.
