Stiller and De Niro reunite for Saturday Night Live

From Digital Spy

President Donald Trump took his latest political beating on this week's Saturday Night Live (April 14).

This time, it was at the hands of Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, who reenacted one of the most memorable scenes from Meet The Parents.

In this week's SNL cold open, Stiller played a parody version of Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen and was interrogated (by way of a lie detecter, of course) by De Niro's Robert Mueller.

An obvious recipe for hilarity, the sketch kicks off with the two of them addressing the déjà vu nature of the scenario.

"Have you ever used a lie detector before?" asks De Niro, to which Stiller replies: "I feel like I have."

They even threw in an iconic Meet the Parents line when Stiller's Cohen said he was trying to "milk some information" out of people.

"Did you say milk?" De Niro's Mueller hits back.

"Yeah, like with a cow or a goat or a ... cat," came the reply. "I mean, you can milk anything with nipples."

And, well, you know the rest.

Of course, it didn't take long for Meet the Parents fans to take to Twitter to share their excitement at the show's unexpected throwback, calling it the 'best Meet the Parents sequel ever'.

(Clearly Meet The Fockers is being wiped from the collective memory here, then.)
