Niall Ennis has been ruled out of Stoke City's final match of the season, against Bristol City this weekend.

The January signing picked up knee problem in last weekend's 1-0 win at Southampton which secured Stoke's status in the Championship and will sit out on Saturday.

Sead Haksabanovic is also still ruled out with a groin problem which meant he couldn't make the trip to the south coast last time. It means that the 24-year-old forward, on loan from Celtic, has played his final match for the club. He has made 11 league starts in all as well as another eight appearances from the bench, scoring one goal.

Medhi Leris is back from illness and has been training this week, however, and Lynden Gooch is in contention to return to the bench after a hamstring injury. He has been training with the full group at Clayton Wood over the last few days.

Ben Pearson (also hamstring) is not ready to return and Ryan Mmaee (hamstring) is also still in the treatment room.

Steven Schumacher said this afternoon: "Niall isn't going to be available. He was a bit stiff at the end of the game, perhaps from a clash of knees with a Southampton defender. Haks still isn't available with a groin problem.

"Lynden Gooch has trained this week. Ben Pearson still hasn't trained with the group and he won't be available. We'll make a decision on Lynden tomorrow because we've got good numbers."
