Stoke-on-Trent North general election 2024 results in full

Voters in Stoke-on-Trent North have gone to the ballot box in the general election 2024.

A new Member of Parliament is being elected for the Staffordshire constituency which includes the following wards: Kidsgrove & Ravenscliffe; Newchapel & Mow Cop; Talke & Butt Lane; Baddeley, Milton & Norton; Bradeley and Chell Heath; Burslem; Burslem Park; Ford Green & Smallthorne; Goldenhill & Sandyford; Great Chell & Packmoor; Little Chell & Stanfield; the majority of Moorcroft & Sneyd Green; Tunstall and a very small part of Etruria & Hanley.

In 2019, the seat was won by Conservative Jonathan Gullis. Before then, the seat had been held by Labour since its creation.

The shock summer general election was called by Rishi Sunak on May 22, with elections taking place in all 650 seats across the UK. Since the 2019 general election major boundary changes affecting 90 per cent of Parliamentary constituencies have come into force.

Ahead of the election, a Conservative government had been in power in Parliament since 2010.

Polls closed in the general election 2024 at 10pm on Thursday, July 4, with counts taking place overnight. Results from across the UK are expected in the early hours of Friday morning.
