Stoke-on-Trent pub resembles building site as refurb ongoing

Building work is continuing at a popular Stoke-on-Trent steakhouse. The Saracens Head - on Sandon Road, in Meir - announced its closure for a refurbishment on April 13.

It comes as the bosses behind the venue decided to 'step aside' after 12 years. Now three weeks of renovation work has been completed on the property.

It is not yet known when the venue will reopen.

In a social media message to drinkers, the pub stated: "We are now closed for the refurbishment. We will hopefully see you all very soon with a brand new look."
