Stone, Penkridge and Great Wyrley are some of those places Rishi Sunak wishes there were more of - a safe Tory seat. Gavin Williamson has been the Conservative MP for the area since 2010 and it has been in the hands of the Tories since the constituency began in 1983.

Mr Williamson has been in the headlines in recent years including for a high-profile fallout when he was found to have bullied former chief whip Wendy Morton. He has, however, a huge majority in the seat he will continue to defend.

While Labour is targeting the Tories up and down the country, Electoral Calculus forecasts another landslide in 2024. It comes amidst a tough time for Rishi Sunak's party which is predicted to lose despite an 80-seat majority in 2019.
