Storms Sweep Through Southern US With More Severe Weather Predicted

Satellite imagery showed thunderstorms moving across the southern United States on May 28, with more severe weather forecast for the region throughout the day.

The Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) reported that the storms brought “damaging wind gusts and large hail” on Tuesday morning.

More than 760,000 Texas customers were without power by Tuesday morning, according to outage trackers.
