Yahoo News Stranger Things' David Harbour insists show "had to go"
Stranger Things actor David Harbour has shared his thoughts on the Netflix sci-fi’s upcoming final season.
The hit show is set to draw to a conclusion with season 5 as the Hawkins kids battle the horrors of The Upside Down one last time.
Reflecting on his time playing Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, Harbour has insisted it's the right time for the show to end.

Having not yet filmed the final season of the sci-fi horror and with numerous other projects in the works, Harbour admitted he's got a busy year ahead of him, but is eager to get Stranger Things in the bag.
"I'm feeling exhausted already," he told Discussing Film. "I feel like I need a nap. Just thinking about the year, it's going to be crazy. It's nothing like I've ever done before.
"You know, Stranger Things had to go. We have to get going because the kids are growing up, we got to shoot this thing!"

Harbour also said that when Stranger Things first began, he "never ever wanted it to end".
However, after several seasons, he explained that he now feels differently and is instead keen to move on to new projects.
"Now we're almost nine years from filming the first season, and I think it is time for it to end," the actor added. "But it is, of course, very bittersweet."

"You know, there's a sadness there," he continued. "But also, we've all grown up. It is time for us to leave that nest and try other things and different projects.
"And to let the Duffer Brothers try different things as well. I mean, those guys are so talented. I want to see what they come up with next. So, it is bittersweet but it's definitely time."
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
