Strangford General Election 2024 results in full as Jim Shannon holds seat
Voters across the Strangford constituency have been going to the polls in the 2024 General Election to choose their new MP.
For decades, Strangford’s General Election count has been a fight between the largest two parties in unionism, but that changed in 2017 when Alliance beat the UUP to second place, with Kellie Armstrong nearly doubling her vote share in 2019.
Jim Shannon was seeking a fifth term as Strangford MP, with Councillor Michelle Guy running for Alliance at Westminster for the first time.
