Yassin and Przystal beat Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez to lift the glitterball trophy, despite finishing the episode last on the judges' scoreboard.
Wildlife cameraman Yassin said: "Words can't describe how I feel.
"This is the best thing that's ever happened to me."
He went on to quote choreographer Andre Du Shields, saying: "One, surround yourself with people whose eyes light up when they see you come in, two, the top of one mountain is the bottom of the next so keep climbing, and three, slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be."
Przystal joined Strictly this year as a new pro dancer and was in the final alongside two other first-time Strictly pros, Gu and Coppola, as well as contest veteran Marquez.

Yassin and Przystal performed their Salsa and couple's choice routines from earlier in the series, as well as a brand new show dance.
Their show dance was by far the lowest scoring routine of the night with just 34 points, although they did earn a perfect 40 for their couple's choice - but the judges' scores are irrelevant in the final as the winner is chosen on public votes alone.
One fan tweeted: "Hamza has been my favourite since the very beginning. All four finalists were AMAZING and I would have been delighted with any of them winning, but I’ve loved watching Hamza the most over the course of the series. What a lovely man!"
Someone else added: "I would have loved Helen or Fleur to win but Hamza has brought SOOO much joy to this series.Congratulations to them!"
Another viewer wrote: "Hamza is a lovely guy. I’m delighted he’s won. We all need sweet and gentle in our lives right now."
The rest of the 2022 cast also returned to dance a group number in the final, with stars including Will Mellor, Matt Goss, Ellie Simmonds and Jayde Adams back on the dancefloor.
Last year's champion Rose Ayling-Ellis returned to read out the voting terms and conditions, and a trailer for the Christmas Day episode showed former judge Bruno Tonioli back on the show as a guest.
Strictly Come Dancing will return on Christmas Day at 5.10pm on BBC One.
