Strictly Come Dancing 2024 may be months away from making its glamorous debut but that hasn't stopped the rumour mill from spinning, regarding this year's line-up.

There is still a while to go before BBC viewers officially find out who is in with the chance of lifting that all-important Glitterball Trophy but here's everyone that could be in the running.

Strictly Come Dancing 2024 rumoured line up...

Gino D'Acampo

This Morning chef and TV personality Gino D'Acampo has been a favourite to join the Strictly cast for several years now but as of yet, he hasn't made an appearance.

He reportedly told the Daily Star in 2019 that he had been asked but the 47-year-old didn't have the time so could the former I'm A Celebrity winner finally be ready to put on his dancing shoes?

Shona McGarty

Shona McGarty recently left EastEnders after playing Whitney Dean for a whopping 16 years so the Strictly ballroom may be where she's headed to next.

McGarty told Best magazine in 2021 that she had always wanted to do the show but it was her nerves that were holding her back.

"I was asked a few years ago to go on the show", she said. "But my anxiety got the better of me and I thought I would be too nervous to do a live show."

Hannah Waddingham

Ted Lasso star and singing sensation Hannah Waddingham's name has been thrown into the mix for Strictly 2024.

Not only has it been reported that the 49-year-old has been approached by the BBC already, Waddingham is close friends with judge Anton Du Beke so he may persuade her to sign up.

Clive Myrie

BBC newsreader Clive Myrie has reportedly been asked to take part in Strictly before but has turned it down in the past.

However, there have been some hints that this could be his year with Myrie sharing a clip from his series Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure where he showed off his dance moves.

He then tagged in Strictly's official X account, writing: "What do you say @bbcstrictly? Are my moves up to par?"

And when he was questioned on Morning Live, Myrie teased: "I don't know. Who knows, maybe one day."

Dame Laura Kenny

Dame Laura Kenny has won a whopping 12 Olympic gold medals for Team GB but the cyclist has now retired from the profession.

So perhaps she's turning her attention to a completely new challenge in the shape of ballroom and Latin dancing.

Perri Kiely

Britain's Got Talent fans will instantly recognise Perri Kiely as a member of 2009 winning dance group Diversity.

He also took home the trophy for Dancing On Ice in 2019 and while he is rumoured to star in Strictly this year, he has told Digital Spy that people would likely accuse him of having an "unfair advantage".

He said: "People thought I was cheating on Dancing on Ice, let alone Strictly Come Dancing."

Jill Scott

Former England footballer Jill Scott impressed reality show fans back in 2022 when she went on to win I'm A Celebrity.

Professional dancer Neil Jones has also said that he would like Scott to one day be his celebrity partner so could this endorsement push the Lioness to say yes?

Tom Malone Jr

Ex-Gogglebox star left the hit show in Channel 4 and could be looking for a new opportunity to get back on the small screen.

He previously shared he would be up for starring in Strictly, telling Express: "If the opportunity came up to go on Strictly as a contestant, I've never done Ballroom in my life, so it'd be interesting to see how as someone who breaks."

Chris McCausland

It has been reported that comedian Chris McCausland has signed up for the 2024 series, making him Strictly's first-ever blind celebrity contestant.

He has yet to confirm if this is true, even when he was directly asked by host Alex Jones on The One Show.

Mollie Pearce

The Traitors has been a resounding success for the BBC and there are talks of some of its cast joining Strictly.

One of the names to crop up is season two runner-up Mollie Pearce whose appearance on the show could be a "positive moment of representation" as she has a stoma and a limb difference.

Perrie Edwards

It was the Little Mix star who put herself forward for the dance competition when she appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show earlier this year.

She shared that she was "really scared" to dance in the bad initially before growing to love it.

Perrie explained: "I was just so terrified and uncomfortable dancing that I just didn't want to do it I just wanted to stand and sing... Now, I love it. I absolutely love dancing. I actually would love it [Strictly Come Dancing]."

Sophie Morgan

Another familiar face whose name has been mentioned for this year's cast is Loose Women presenter Sophie Morgan.

She also hosts Channel 4's coverage of the Paralympics and was rumoured to take part in 2023 but could this be her year to get Strictlified?
