Strictly Come Dancing: Craig Revel Horwood Reveals Who He Thinks Will Make The Final

Strictly Come Dancing’s Mr Nasty himself, Craig Revel Horwood, has revealed the three celebrities he reckons could make it to this year’s big final.

Sadly, not all the hopefuls made the grade, with Craig claiming a few of the celebrities are not destined to be the next Fred or Ginger.

Grading the contestants in the Radio Times, the harsh critic picked out three celebrities who he thinks could come within touching distance of that glitterball trophy.

First is Jay McGuiness, who wowed the judges with his Pulp Fiction jive and who Craig regards as ‘definitely capable of winning’.

Explaining that he’s ‘completely transformed’ since the beginning of the competition, the judge said: “When he first arrived he was incredibly quiet and would avoid everyone else… but now he’s lost the hair he talks to everyone and walks down the corridor like John Travolta!”

HURRAH.

The second lucky celebrity is Kellie Bright, who Craig reckons is ‘a real powerhouse’, and is ‘out there, focused and a very good dancer’.

However, he noted one potential setback, adding: “The fact she’s filming EastEnders full-time is limiting.”

Last but by no means least is Peter Andre, who Craig hasn’t been massively complimentary of, having recently said he’s lacking the ‘it’ factor (we disagree, but sure).

Despite saying his chances of victory ‘are good’, the judge admitted: “It takes him twice as long to learn a routine… [and] he likes putting his own style into every dance, which is too pop!”

Ooo, he’s hard to please, isn’t he?

Unfortunately for Jeremy Vine, Jamelia and Anita Rani, Craig doesn’t think they’ve got a chance to reaching the show’s Christmas final.

Katie Derham could be in with a shot ‘if she’s lucky’, he added, joking that a shot of vodka might help and saying: “She looks like she’s constantly at finishing school… she needs to let her hair down!”

Georgia May Foote ‘doesn’t excite’ Craig and needs ‘more fire in her belly’, while Helen George could get there if she gets rid of her ballet dancing habits.

Judge Not-So-Jolly claimed she ‘doesn’t really chat to people’ and is ‘classically trained’, which ‘actually goes against her and can make her look a bit wooden’.

But what do YOU think?
