Strictly Come Dancing: Emma Willis ‘Bans’ Husband Matt From Taking Part

Emma Willis might think husband Matt has the skills it takes to compete on Strictly Come Dancing, but she still has some reservations about the Busted star taking part.

And it seems the ‘Strictly curse’ may just have something to do with it.

If you didn’t know, the ‘Strictly curse’ has seen some celebrities who take part in the BBC show fall for their professional dance partners.

Ben Cohen split from his wife and is now enjoying a romance with his partner, Kristina Rihanoff, for example, while Rachel Riley left her husband of 15 months and is now in a relationship with Pasha Kovalev.

Revealing her ban on Matt getting involved with the show, Emma told The Mirror: “I’m a jealous person. If my husband is around a younger, good-looking woman, I’m like, ‘Stop looking at them!’

“We’re women - and for the most part, I think it’s a natural thing that we all have in us.

“Matt could do Strictly, because he’s an amazing dancer. Every now and then he will bust out a pirouette in the middle of the living room and our daughter will be like, ‘Wow, Daddy!’

“But I don’t want him grinding against hot women. I do get jealous, but I think that’s normal.”
