Strictly Come Dancing stars FURIOUS with Brian Conley after discovering his brother works on the show
Strictly Come Dancing stars have reportedly made Brian Conley the black sheep of the competition after discovering his brother works on the show.
Tensions are said to be high backstage as the furious celebrity contingent believe Brian is getting preferential treatment because his brother, Alan Conley, is the long-time floor manager who helps production bosses call the shots.
‘Alan has worked on the show for years and his inevitable closeness to Brian has been putting noses out of joint,’ a source revealed to The Sun.
Brian has been accused of ‘special treatment’
‘There is fury among a group who think Brian is getting special treatment.
After surviving the dreaded dance off in week one, many of the celebs are said to believe his success is down to having a family member working behind the scenes to make him look good.
‘Staying in Strictly and doing well is in no small part down to how your clips are edited and the airtime each celebrity gets, so having a family member on staff is bound to help.
‘Brian survived the first dance-off against former Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu, despite having been the favourite to go.”

Alan is something of a TV veteran, and has worked on a number of other big shows, including Britain’s Got Talent and Top Gear.
The Strictly row comes just days after it was revealed that Brian appears to have double-booked himself with panto duties later this year.
According to The Sun, Brian has been telling backstage crew he has just ‘one week left’ and already appears to have one eye on the door because of his Cinderella duties. He was pictured at the panto’s press launch on Sunday with TV fashion guru and chef Gok Wan, who plays Cinders’ Fairy Godmother.
