Strictly Come Dancing fans call Tyler West elimination 'baffling'
Strictly Come Dancing viewers have shared their outrage at the Blackpool week elimination result that saw Tyler West voted out of the competition.
The radio DJ and his partner Dianne Buswell lost out to Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu in Sunday's dance off, with only Anton Du Beke voting to save them.

But many fans of the BBC One show disagreed with the decision and while they felt that neither couple deserved to be in the bottom two, they were particularly upset that West went home after his Jive.
One fan tweeted: "Truly baffled as to how they can save Molly out of the two. Tyler was far superior."
Another viewer wrote: "That was the most outrageous decision in the history of the competition! Tyler was so much better than Molly!!!! I'm completely dumbfounded by what I've just witnessed, Anton is the only sensible person on the panel!!!!!!"

Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood had both voted to save Rainford and Gu, leaving the decision down to head judge Shirley Ballas for the first time this series - who also chose Rainford.

One annoyed fan tweeted: "What part of “BASED ON THAT DANCE OFF ALONE” did the judges not understand? Tyler and Dianne’s dance was leagues above Molly and Carlos’. How come its only Anton who understands the format?"
Someone else agreed: "Shocking strictly decision this week! Dianne and Tyler’s performance was one of the best performances of the series in my opinion."
Another viewer wrote: "An absolute travesty - Tyler has been the better dancer throughout and had the potential to grow to lift the glitter ball. Molly’s dancing flatlined for me weeks ago."
Someone else commented: "Gutted for Tyler & Dianne, they were by far the better performance, the lifts alone were outstanding. Could tell from judges comments last night they were set to put them out. Disappointed."
Many viewers felt that West should never have been in danger of going home in the first place, with one person tweeting: "Tyler or Molly SHOULD not have been in the dance off. Wrong wrong wrong!"
Someone else wrote: "Absolutely gutted for Tyler & Dianne. They should never have been in the dance off."
Saturday's live show, the first to be back at Blackpool Tower Ballroom since 2019, saw Fleur East and Vito Coppola achieve the first perfect 40 of the series for their couple's choice routine.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
