Strictly Come Dancing’s Amy Dowden broke her silence as the full professional line-up is revealed

The star has confirmed that she will be returning to the BBC hit show after being forced to miss out on last series following her breast cancer diagnosis. Amy was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer after finding a lump days before her honeymoon with husband Ben Jones last year.

Since then Amy has been bravely sharing her journey as she hopes to raise more awareness. She has undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy, suffered a blot clot and contracted sepsis throughout her treatment.

Earlier this year, Amy revealed that there is now "no evidence of disease" following her cancer treatment but she will not receive the “all clear” for five years due to her type of cancer.

Now, Amy is back to work and will compete in the 2024 series of Strictly. The professional dancers will be returning to the show alongside Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return as hosts and the judges' desks will see the return of Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel-Horwood and Anton Du Beke.
