Yahoo News Strictly's Amy Dowden lands huge presenting role
Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has landed at a huge new presenting role on Lorraine.
During today's episode (February 27) of the ITV morning show, it was revealed that Amy will be presenting celebrity interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
"I’m joining the Lorraine family! Thank you so much for this opportunity. What a difference just a couple of months makes," the professional dancer said of her new role.

The news comes just days after Amy shared a positive update on her breast cancer battle, revealing there was "no evidence of disease" in her body after undergoing months of chemotherapy treatment.
"I can’t stop smiling. I’ve had a lot of bone pain in my shoulder and I do have impingement there, but at least it’s not cancer," she told Lorraine Kelly. "I was so worried that it had spread to the bones. I’ve got this spring in my step, a smile on my face."
Explaining that she has five years to go before she’s officially cancer-free, Amy continued: "I’ll need to go back to the chemo ward once a month for an injection. It’s a brutal injection.

"I've got a hormone-fed cancer, so if that keeps my hormones at bay and stops feeding it, then it’s worthwhile.
"I’ve got another shot of life. I’m so grateful and happy and I wake up every day and say ‘thank you’ because not everyone gets to do it.
Meanwhile, Amy's BBC One show Dare to Dance, which sees the star help people across Wales live out their dancing dreams, was recently renewed for another batch of episodes.
The new episodes will feature fellow Strictly pros Dianne Buswell and Graziano Di Prima, as well as former pro Oti Mabuse, who stepped in to help Amy after she was diagnosed with breast cancer during filming.
Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
