EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier has gained a surprising Hollywood A-List fan thanks to his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Bobby appeared on Loose Women with his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell this week to talk about his time in the competition, when soap veteran and Benidorm actress Denise Welch revealed that none other than The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Italian Job and Jaws: The Revenge legend Sir Michael Caine was a Bobby fan.

Denise recalled that: "I popped into Bobby's dressing room earlier to tell him, and this is my one big name-drop, Sir Michael Caine, and [me and a friend] were having dinner with Michael last week and he said, 'Do you watch that Strictly then?' and I said, 'yeah I do' and he said 'Oh that Bobby Brazier reminds me of me... he's so good looking.'

"He thinks that you've got it, you've got a big, widespread fanbase out there."

Bobby didn't say much over the audience cheering and applauding, but did smile and called the stamp of approval "fantastic".

Despite Bobby counting acting royalty amongst his fans, he landed in the dreaded dance-off recently.

He called the dance-off a "lesson in humility" but added a positive spin, stating "if there is somewhere to dance twice, it should be Blackpool".

The competition continues tonight (November 25) and if you want to know what Bobby, Dianne, and all the other celebrities and their professional partners will be dancing to, we've got you covered right here.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
