Yahoo News Strictly's Ellie Leach speaks to Vito Coppola every day
Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has revealed she still speaks to her dance partner Vito Coppola daily.
Speaking about their friendship during an interview on today's (March 20) episode of Good Morning Britain, the Coronation Street actress told presenters Ed Balls and Susanna Reid that she and Vito have been in constant contact since September.
Susanna — who has also taken part in the BBC series — asked Ellie if it was true that she and Vito had spoken daily since the end of the series, to which the actress replied: "Every single day.
"We've spoken every single day since September."

Ellie's revelation then prompted co-host Ed to ask about the nature of the pair's relationship, telling her: "We all believed there was a love interest."
However, Ellie was quick to shut the speculation down with a laugh, telling the hosts that she and Vito had become the "best of friends" after spending so much time dancing with each other.
"I think when you dance with someone, you're together 24/7. We are the best of friends. I am so lucky that I got him as my partner," the actress said. "We really understood each other. We bonded."
Ellie and Vito secured the Glitterball trophy in December last year, beating Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell to first place.

Following her time on the show, Ellie's personal life has been subject to constant speculation, with the actress linked romantically to both dancer Vito and her Strictly co-star and EastEnders actor Bobby in recent months.
She recently urged fans to stop speculating about her love life 0n social media after fans questioned the absence of Vito in her Instagram posts.
"Love this man dearly. Men and women can be friends and can love each other AS FRIENDS... just saying x @vitocopolla you have the cutest face," she wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside an image of Vito.
Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
