Strictly Come Dancing star Maisie Smith has revealed the one thing Max George does that gets on her nerves, explaining she'd "happily settle" for such a minor flaw.

Smith, known for the role of Tiffany Butcher on EastEnders, and George have been in a relationship since 2022 after meeting on Strictly in 2020. She and the singer have been going strong since making their romance official, but there's still one thing that the soap star can't quite wrap her head around.

"He never puts his toothbrush in the cup," Smith told The Sun.

"And that just gets on my nerves. I'm like, 'Max, your toothbrush is on the sink,' and he's like, 'Oh sorry,'" she continued.

Smith acknowledged this is but a tiny glitch in an otherwise-perfect romance, saying: "That is as bad as it gets, which is a pretty good position to be in. The worst thing in our relationship is that he doesn't put his toothbrush in the cup. I'd happily settle for that."

Gushing over their relationship, Smith revealed a romantic side to the singer, explaining he buys her flowers every week.

"He is definitely The One. He's just perfect. We are very, very happy," she said.

"He's so romantic, which I really wouldn't have expected from him, but he really is.

"I love surprises. Every week he gets me flowers because he knows that I've got three vases in the house that need filling."

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
