Strong Breeze Whips up Snow in Upstate New York

Strong winds whipped up snow in Oswego, New York, as the National Weather Service (NWS) cautioned of a “messy night” of mixed “wintry precipitation” on Wednesday, February 22.

“East of Lake Ontario, snow intensity will pick up as heavier bands move through,” the NWS said. “South of the lake, a wintry mix of sleet, snow, and freezing rain will continue.”
