Some Students Let Inside UCLA Campus While Others Get Turned Away

Several students were turned away by protesters on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus on Tuesday, April 30 as they were attempting to get to class.

Footage filmed by a source who wishes to remain anonymous shows people wearing keffiyehs, reflective jackets and masks letting some students through by moving a barrier while telling others they “have to go around.” A sign saying “stop the US war machine” is attached to the barrier, and a person can be seen handing a wristband to a student after the student goes through.

In the video, a woman can heard saying “once you exit the encampment, there’s security there. They won’t let you go further. It’s not just us that are blocking things off.”

“I’d rather hear that from security,” a man is heard replying.
