Stunning Outlander make-up transformation as fan turns herself into Sam Heughan

Since Outlander burst onto our screens in 2014, fans from across the globe have become obsessed with the historical fantasy drama. The show catapulted Sam Heughan to worldwide stardom for his lead role as hunky Highland warrior Jamie Fraser.

Outlander viewers have developed a deep infatuation for the 44-year-old, from Dumfries-shire, who has even been linked to the vacant James Bond role following his dashing on-screen performances.

But one fan has taken her love of the show to new levels - by turning herself into Jamie Fraser. Leticia Gomes, a super-talented Brazilian make-up artist, wowed her followers with the incredible transformation.

The influencer showed her prowess in the beauty field with a video which quickly went viral.

In the clip, shared to Instagram and TikTok in 2020, Leticia appears on screen looking fresh-faced and wearing a blue top and tartan blazer.

She starts by using foundation to make her face paler, to match the complexion of an 18th Century Highlander. She then uses different products around her face to change the appearance of her cheekbones and jawline.

Leticia then leans forward, taking her face off-screen, and re-appears as an uncanny likeness of Jamie, complete with the authentic period attire and ginger wig.

Having transformed into the Outlander hero, she makes several smouldering looks at the camera before smirking as the video ends. The clip racked up hundreds of thousands of likes across the artist's social media channels.

Discussing her inspiration for the transformation, Leticia, who has previously amazed fans with her renditions of characters like Will from Stranger Things and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, revealed she was quickly hooked by the Starz show.

She said: "I started watching Outlander and now I'm addicted to the series. I found a way to have a Jamie Fraser to call mine."

She then joked that she decided to undertake the transformation after many of her followers pointed out her resemblance to Brianna, Jamie's daughter on the show.

The popular show, based on Diana Gabaldon's book series, is currently on a break, halfway through its seventh season. It is set to resume in November, with fans desperately waiting for its return.
