This stunning rapeseed field just a few miles away from Brighton is a great walk for all the family.

The yellow flowers stretch as far as the eye can see in every direction just behind Mile Oak farm in Portslade.

It is easy to park in Mile Oak road and follow the bridleway towards Cockroost Hill, where the plants are blooming.

Lines carved through the field by tractors guide the eye beyond the horizon and out to sea.

Our camera club photographers Rose Jones and Louise Yates took some amazing pictures of the farm, which looks beautiful come rain or shine.
