Suffolk’s best businesses announced at awards ceremony

Businesses from across Suffolk came together to celebrate their successes at the East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards 2024 last night.

I am proud to be a part of these awards every year because I am always reminded of how Suffolk, so often underestimated, quietly continues to punch significantly above its weight.

You can see the list of our fantastic winners below. They are shining examples of Suffolk businesses that are innovative, community-focused, ever-adaptable and pretty successful too – in all the definitions of that word.

Success to me isn’t just about financial growth but about feeling you are doing something valuable, something you believe in, something that makes the lives of others easier or even better.

This is what I strive to do for our readers and for my team, while also making sure my bosses are happy with my bottom line. I know that’s what our leading businesses do too.

This year the theme for the awards was sustainability, a word which Suffolk businesses have long known doesn’t have to mean sacrifice – I am always impressed with the originality and innovation that Suffolk businesses pioneer in the name of being balanced, efficient and environmentally sound.

I enjoyed meeting a wide range of these businesses at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall last night at the event.

The event also gave us the opportunity to raise money for our community group of the year, Restitute CIC, which supports the people who care for survivors of sexual or violent crime.
