Yahoo News Suicide Squad developer lifts NDA following negative previews
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League developer Rocksteady has responded after negative previews of the game were published by press outlets.
Publications were able to try the game recently and write up their impressions, with outlets like IGN and GameSpot posting negative articles about the poor gunplay, generic open world and mission design, and uninteresting storyline.
In an attempt to create some positive buzz around the game ahead of its release (which is locked in after multiple delays from its original 2022 plan), Rocksteady has allowed players who took part in the recent Closed Alpha Test to publicly share their thoughts, lifting the NDA they signed at the time.

"Back in November, we held a Closed Alpha Test for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League where players agreed to a Non-Disclosure Agreement and got a chance to check out an early section of the game," reads a post on Twitter/X.
"Now that there is more news out on the game and players are asking, we're no longer enforcing a portion of the NDA and we're allowing players to talk about their experience from the Closed Alpha Test.
"We've heard the community requests and want to give players an opportunity to discuss what it's like to explore Metropolis as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.
"To the amazing players who tested the game, please feel free to talk and write about your gameplay experience."

The post also states that players can't publicly share any pictures or videos captured during the Test as that part of the NDA is still in affect.
Responses to that post are full of fans stating they enjoyed playing the Test, though less positive impressions can also be found online.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on February 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
