Suits' new credits hint at big changes for the show

From Digital Spy

We all know that Suits is set for big changes next season following the departures of Meghan Markle and Patrick J Adams.

So naturally the series has got a set of brand spanking new opening credits to reflect the big changes coming to the show.

In the shiny new titles (via TVLine), we see the silhouettes of some of the newly-added series regulars, including newcomer Katherine Heigl (Samantha), returning Amanda Schull (Katrina) and Dulé Hill (Alex), alongside mainstays Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman.

On top of that, we see a brief flash-by of the firm's many names, all accompanied by the familiar theme of 'Greenback Boogie' by Ima Robot.

Former Grey's Anatomy star Heigl is among the big new additions to the cast, and she recently opened up about her character Samantha, who "muscles her way" into firm Specter Litt.

"She's kind of having fun messing with everybody," she explained. "They're just not having as much fun – yet."

It also sounds like she will have a frosty relationship with her colleagues, Heigl adding: "The fact that Donna can't quite put her finger on Samantha is really fun to play.

"Our first scene together was just like that – she's trying to figure out Samantha, and Samantha's not really giving much of anything away.

"She feels like a woman who has sort of reached that point in her life where she knows who she is, what she wants, and how to go about getting it, and she's not apologetic at all, which I kind of love."

Suits is due to return to the USA Network this Wednesday (July 18).
