Yahoo News Suits star Patrick J Adams lands Netflix TV role
Suits star Patrick J Adams has landed a role on Wayward, the new thriller series from Netflix.
The star, who played Mike Ross on the legal drama, is part of a stacked roster for the upcoming series, which is set in a "bucolic but sinister town". The drama explores the "insidious underbelly of the 'troubled teen industry' and the eternal struggle between one generation and the next."
As per Deadline, Adams has joined the eight-part drama in a recurring guest role, with the actor set to play a high school counsellor. He is joined by Patrick Gallagher and Josh Close, who have also been added as guest stars.

Sydney Topliffe, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Toni Collette have joined as series regulars (via Deadline), with Collette set to play the headmistress at Tall Pines. Topliffe and Lind will reportedly play best friends, Abbie and Leila.
The group join the previously announced Sarah Gadon, Brandon Jay McLaren and Mae Martin, with Martin also serving as the show's creator, executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Ryan Scott.
Martin, best known in the UK for their stint on Taskmaster, has talked about the project in greater detail in a previous interview, releasing a statement at the point where the show had a working title of Tall Pines.

"Tall Pines is a story I've been dying to tell for years, and I'm beyond excited for people to see what we have in store!" they said. "It's going to be an insane roller coaster and so different from anything I've done before."
More specific plot details for the series remain under wraps, though more information about the show, which is one of the first major commissions for Netflix Canada, is expected to be released in the near future.
No release date has yet been confirmed for Wayward.
