Britain’s “most tattooed mum” has called Rishi Sunak “gorgeous” and said she would “love to give him a good sandwich” after he revealed the lunchtime snack to be his favourite meal.

Asked if he was planning a special meal for election night he told ITV’s This Morning: “My favourite meal, generally, is sandwiches.”

The interview with the Prime Minister came after a segment on the programme with Becky Holt, who is known as Britain’s most tattooed mother.

Speaking to The Telegraph following her appearance on ITV, she said: “I’m totally with him on sandwiches being the best, my favourite is bacon, lettuce and tomato.”

Ms Holt added: “Rishi Sunak was gorgeous, he had beautiful skin, lovely eyes and amazing teeth – I’d love to give him a good sandwich.”

The 36-year-old said that the Prime Minister spoke with her briefly after the interview and asked about her tattoos.

Ms Holt admitted that she is not an avid follower of politics, saying: “I’m not into politics whatsoever. I know I should care, but I don’t. I like the memes but other than that I have no interest.”

Asked which party leader she would get tattooed on her body, she said: “I’d get Rishi, obviously, since he is now my favourite prime minister ever.

“I’d get a picture of his face and put a little caption saying ‘when I was little I didn’t get Sky TV’”.

It comes after Mr Sunak was criticised for saying he was forced to sacrifice “lots of things” as a child owing to his family’s financial circumstances, including Sky TV.

After Ms Holt was interviewed, Mr Sunak revealed his choice of tattoo would be the Southampton FC badge.

“My mind straightaway went to: well, I’d probably get the Saints crest,” he said, before adding that it’s “a great logo”.

Special election pie

And while his favourite meal may be a sandwich, Mr Sunak said he intended to stick with his North Yorkshire election-night tradition which involved eating a “special election pie” from Kitson’s on Northallerton High Street in his constituency.

Mr Sunak has been getting the same pork pie from Kitson’s each election night since taking over the Richmond seat from William Hague in 2015.

Martin Calvert, 54, the manager of Kitson’s, has worked in the town centre butcher for more than 30 years and said that Mr Sunak is a regular customer.

“We also have a farm shop and Mr Sunak goes there as well,” said Mr Calvert.

Campbell Nicholson, 20, made the special pie on Wednesday ready for it to be baked on Thursday morning.

He explained that it is a hot water pastry crust with a bottom layer of minced pork, with a layer of blue Stilton, sandwiched between another layer of minced pork and topped with Yorkshire pickle.

Mr Calvert said: “We’ll be in a 6am on election day to pop it in the oven for it to be collected later that day.”

“It is not a pie we sell to the general public, but it is a combination of other flavours we sell as smaller pies.”

Mr Calvert said that the 4kg election pie would retail at about £30 if it was on sale, but couldn’t reveal whether Mr Sunak paid for it or not.

“That’s something only my boss could tell you,” he said.

Kitson’s employs about 10 people.

Mr Calvert said: “I’m a Tory voter and I’ll be voting Tory, but I couldn’t vouch for anybody else who works here.”
