Sunday Brunch star Simon Rimmer set for Merseyside return after exciting announcement

Simon Rimmer has been confirmed as a special guest chef at this year's Southport Flower Show.

The Sunday Brunch star will appear at the popular event, which returns to Merseyside from August 15 - 18. The 61-year-old from Wallasey will host cooking demos at the event with his daughter, Flo.

The demos, named 'On the go with Si and Flo’, will be followed by a Q&A in the Garden Theatre. The event's general manager is thrilled the celebrity chef will be appearing at an event in his home region.

Alan Adams said: "We can’t wait to welcome them both to this year’s show. Simon has showcased his cookery skills at the show before and Flo has been involved with the show for many years”.

The upcoming Southport Flower Show is the event's 100th anniversary of the popular event and organisers have teased more exciting announcements are on the way to mark the special milestone. Celebrity chefs at this year’s show are Platinum Pudding winner Jemma Melvin, Matt Tebbutt of Saturday Kitchen, Nisha Katona MBE and Phil Vickery of This Morning.

Early bird tickets are available until Wednesday August 14. Buy your tickets early and save. Tickets are flexible and can be used on any one of the show days. Children under 16 go free. Well behaved dogs are allowed on leads.
