The attendances for Super League round eight are in, with 58,121 fans taking in the action over the weekend. The highest figure of the round was at Headingley, with Huddersfield Giants, led by another superb performance from Jake Connor, shocking Leeds Rhinos with a 30-24 comeback victory in the Rhinos' Armed Forces game.

Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors recorded a crowd of 13,029 at the DW Stadium in their first home game for several weeks. They beat Castleford Tigers 36-14 after their 60-6 Challenge Cup massacre of the Yorkshire club the week before.

Over in St Helens, 10,448 fans watched the Saints dismantle a depleted Hull side 58-0. It was the fourth time in five games that the Black and Whites have conceded 50 points or more.

On Saturday, Warrington Wolves edged out Leigh Leopards 16-14 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Leigh led early on before Sam Burgess' side came surging back, with 10,443 there to see it.

In the South of France, 8,583 fans saw Catalans Dragons hammer Hull KR 36-6 at the Stade Gilbert Brutus. Finally, just 2,450 were at Wimbledon's Cherry Red Records Stadium as Salford Red Devils defeated winless London Broncos 12-4.
