Surrey Heath General Election results 2024 in full as Liberal Democrats take out Conservatives

Voters in Surrey Heath have decided their new MP in the general election 2024 will be Al Pinkerton from the Liberal Democrats. This is a gain for the Lib Dems, after they received 21,387 votes. This compares to 15,747 votes for the Conservative candidate Ed McGuiness. In third 'place', was Reform candidate Sam Goggin with 6,252 votes.

A new Member of Parliament is being elected for the Surrey constituency which includes the wards of Bagshot, Bisley and West End, Frimley, Frimley Green, Heatherside, Lightwater, Mytchett and Deepcut, Old Dean, Parkside, St Michaels, St Pauls, Town, Watchett, and Windlesham & Chobham in the Surrey Heath District Ash South and Tongham, Ash Vale, and Ash Wharf.

Ahead of the election the MP was former government minister and Conservative Michael Gove. On 24 May Mr Gove announced that he would not contest the seat in the election.
