Surrey is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, from rolling hills and ancient woodlands to tranquil riverside paths. Now, SurreyLive is inviting you to help us crown the county's best walk with a view.

Following a flood of submissions from our recent survey, we've curated a shortlist of the top scenic routes recommended by you, our readers. Cast your vote in our poll at the bottom of this article and make your favourite walk the winner.

Your six finalists include:

  • Box Hill - A perennial favourite and National Trust gem. Walkers are rewarded with panoramic views over the Mole Valley and beyond.

  • Newlands Corner - A picturesque spot, part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), is perfect for leisurely walks, picnics, and spotting wildlife.

  • Painshill Park - Created in the 18th century, it is regarded as one of the foremost and finest examples of the English Landscape Movement.

  • Devil’s Punch Bowl - A natural amphitheatre with dramatic landscapes and extensive views across the surrounding heathland. This National Trust site is steeped in history and folklore.

  • Colley Hill (above Reigate)- At the top there are rolling hills, trees, as well as homes and farms below as far as the eyes can see. It also offers the Inglis Memorial.

  • Leith Hill - Standing as the second highest point in South East England, Leith Hill boasts unparalleled views that stretch as far as London and the English Channel on clear days.

  • You also have the option of entering your own favourite if you think readers missed something the first time around.

Whether it's to get out for a few hours, or you want to make use of the sun while it’s here, a good walk can be just what you need. Being able to go somewhere that also offers you stunning scenery is a bonus. That’s why we need to know which one is Surrey’s best walk.
