A woman 'greatly missed' is one of the loved ones remembered in this week's death and funeral notices for areas in and around Surrey. Samantha Murphy sadly died on May 27, aged 57.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence and a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Hazel June HUTCHINGS

Peacefully passed away on May 23, 2024, aged 96 years. Much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The service will take place at Guildford Crematorium on Tuesday, June 25, at 12 noon. Gillian Jane (Jill) LESLIE

Evelyn Aloysius Llewelyn MORGAN

Peacefully on May 10, 2024, aged 93. Third son of Canon M B and Mrs Morgan of Hockley, Essex. Devoted father of Celia, James and Melissa and friend to many. Alfred SHIPMAN

Passed away peacefully at Corrina Lodge on May 11, 2024, aged 98 years old. Much loved husband of Margaret (Peggy), father to Trevor, Paul and Keith as well as Grandad and Great-Grandad to their families. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and those that knew him through Scouting and his work over many years with the youth in Surrey Heath. Funeral service to be held at St Michael's Church Camberley on Monday, June 17, at 11.30am, followed by a service at East Finchampstead Crematorium at 1pm. Pamela STANDEN MBE

Longtime resident of Cranleigh has died peacefully at 90. Mother to Claire, Mark and Ben and dearly beloved grandmother to Jemima, Molly, Tom, Lucy, William, Charlie and Harry. Many will remember her commitment to the village in which she lived for 65 years, teaching history at Glebelands School, running the Oxfam shop and steadfastly supporting St Nicholas Church. Her funeral is to be held in Angmering at St Margaret's Church on Thursday June 13, at 2pm. All donations to Oxfam please. Richard James (Dick) WESTLAND

Sadly passed away on May 3, aged 93. Beloved husband of Pamela; loving father of Duncan and Alastair; much loved grandfather of Emily.
