Susanna Reid joined Ukraine's 'Voice of Hope' Amelia Anisovych in an impromptu duet as they were reunited on Good Morning Britain.

The seven-year-old Ukrainian girl went viral on social media after a video was shared of her singing Let It Go from Disney movie Frozen in a Kyiv bunker and Reid previously interviewed her in Poland after she had fled to safety with her mother.

Anisovych joined Reid and Ed Balls on the GMB sofa where she presented Reid with a picture she had drawn of the 51-year-old TV presenter and cuddled her.

The child star finished by performing the Disney hit live on the ITV breakfast show in three languages, including Ukrainian and English, and when she faltered at the last line Reid joined in singing, "The cold never bothered me anyway."

Speaking about her time in London, Anisovych said she had been excited to see Big Ben and an “amazing and impressive” performance of Frozen the Musical in the West End.

She said: "When I grow up, I would like to be a big, big singer."

Her mother Lilia, 39, urged viewers not to forget about the Ukraine conflict, “because when you forget about it, it’s going to be very, very bad.”

She added: “I would like to go back, but it’s not possible, it’s very dangerous.”

Anisovych, her mother, and brother Misha, 15, escaped the war in Ukraine and travelled to Warsaw, Poland with their grandmother in March.

She has gone on to become known world-wide after singing the Ukrainian National Anthem at Poland's 13,000 seat Atlas Arena during a charity concert.

She has also performed at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre in Wales as part of a choir competition.

Reid met the family when she travelled to Poland to report on the war.

Russian president Vladimir Putin began the invasion of Ukraine on 24 February, prompting hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to attempt to flee the country.

The original video of Anisovych singing was filmed and posted on social media by mother-of-two Marta Smekhova, 45, who talked to Anisovych as she and the other families sheltered from the bombs.

She posted: "From the first word in the bomb shelter came complete silence. Everyone put their business aside and listen to a song by this girl who was just beaming light. Even men couldn't hold back the tears."

Frozen star Idina Menzel shared her support for Amelia after seeing the video.

Menzel, who voices Elsa in the Frozen films, shared the video on Twitter and wrote: "We see you. We really, really see you," along with a blue and yellow heart representing the colours of the Ukraine flag."
