Yahoo News “SVU”, “Chicago Fire”, “The Voice” and More Set Return Dates as NBC Announces 2024 Premieres
Two new unscripted series, 'America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League' and 'Deal or No Deal Island', are also set to premiere in the new year
After months of production delays caused by the historic SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, NBC is starting the new year off with a bang!
On Monday, the network announced the 2024 premiere dates of its fan-favorite shows, including Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire and The Voice, as well as some new series premiering on the network.
NBC will wrap up its 2023 slate on Saturday, Dec. 23 with a holiday episode of Night Court at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, as well as the premiere of Extended Family, a new comedy about a newly separated couple starring Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The 2024 lineup will kick off on Jan. 1 with another premiere: America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.
As previously announced, the Terry Crews-hosted AGT spinoff, which airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT, will follow 40 of the series’ most beloved acts as they compete against each other on fantasy teams headed by judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Mel B.

The next day, Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T will return to television screens for the latest season of Law & Order: SVU. The fan-favorite series will kick off Thursday, Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, sandwiched by the season premieres of its sister series, Law & Order at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Law & Order: Organized Crime, starring Christopher Meloni, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Part one of the season premiere will air on Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and part two will follow on Feb. 27 in the same slot, with Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and John Legend all returning to their iconic red chairs.
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, the third and final season of sci-fi drama La Brea — which will take viewers back to the prehistoric age — will premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the final two episodes of Found at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Also wrapping up their season in 2024 is investigative drama The Irrational, whose final four episodes will air on Monday, Jan. 29.

Following part one of The Voice's Feb. 26 premiere, NBC’s new Deal or No Deal spinoff, Deal or No Deal Island, will debut at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Hosted by Joe Manganiello, the game show will follow 13 players to an island where over 100 briefcases — containing millions of dollars between them — are hidden. To retrieve them, the players will compete in “thrilling challenges and mind-bending dilemmas,” per a press release from NBC.
At the end of the season, the final contestant has the potential to win the biggest prize in Deal or No Deal history.
NBC series whose air dates have yet to be announced include the remaining episodes of Quantum Leap and Magnum P.I., Lopez vs. Lopez, The Weakest Link, Password, That’s My Jam and The Wall.
