Swifties 'from all over the world' visiting Taylor's 'favourite' kebab shop

The owner of what's been dubbed Taylor Swift's 'favourite' kebab shop has seen his business become a hotspot for Swifties worldwide. As the pop icon returns to the UK for her London Eras Tour performances, fans are descending on the modest shop to sample what's reportedly the singer's preferred dish.

Kentish Delight's owner, Ahmed Khan, said the Tortured Poets Department artist was a "regular" at his establishment. The 55 year old recalled how Taylor would drop by "multiple times a month" during her relationship with former partner Joe Alwyn, the British actor who hails from the nearby Tufnell Park area.

In the lead-up to her Eras Tour gigs at Wembley Stadium this weekend, it has come to light that she's placed "a huge order" with the kebab shop. While the exact number of meals is yet to be confirmed, Mr Khan mentioned that chicken shish kebabs and falafel wraps are on the list.

Mr Khan even shared details of Taylor's go-to meal, revealing that she often opted for a chicken doner kebab . It was loaded with salad, garlic mayo, and a touch of chilli sauce.

Reflecting on past visits, he said: "Taylor used to come in all the time when she lived in London. Her boyfriend lived only ten minutes away. The two of them would come in together - multiple times a month sometimes.", reports Bristol Live.

Mr Khan revealed that his kebab shop has been a hotspot for Taylor Swift fans, or 'Swifties', from "all over the world" since the pop star filmed parts of her 'Endgame' music video there in 2017. The video, which also features Ed Sheeran and Future, shows Taylor partying in Miami, Tokyo, and finally London, with Kentish Delight on Kentish Town Road making a cameo.

He said: "I have a Taylor fan in here everyday. They come from all over the world - Europe, North America, South America. France, Spain, Mexico, Chile. One fan came all the way from Brunei just to come to our kebab shop."

One such fan, Julia Steczek from Poland, visited Kentish Delight on Wednesday (June 19) specifically to see a "Taylor Swift spot". The 17 year old shared: "It's our first day in London and I knew I wanted to come here. It's one of the Taylor Swift spots to visit."

Julia even ordered Taylor's favourite meal - a chicken doner kebab - to fuel up before attending the star's concert on Friday (June 21). "I'm going on Friday. I can't wait," she expressed.

Taylor is set to perform the first three of eight sold-out gigs at London's Wembley Stadium, which can hold up to 90,000 spectators, on Friday (June 21), Saturday (June 22), and Sunday (June 23). She will then tour various other European cities, including Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, and more, before returning to London to play another five concerts between August 15 and August 20.
