A tornado touched down in the Montreal suburb of Mascouche, on June 21, according to local media citing authorities.
Environment Canada confirmed a tornado hit the off-island suburb of Mascouche at around 4 pm local time and that another tornado might have touched down south of Quebec City.
Quebec’s public safety minister said a man had died in the extreme weather.
