Swizz Beatz responds to viral moment between his wife Alicia Keys and Usher
Swizz Beatz has responded to the recent viral moment between his wife Alicia Keys and Usher.
During the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Usher hugged and danced with his guest star Alicia Keys on stage during their performance of their 2004 hit song My Boo.
Shortly after the performance, fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the interaction, with some saying they thought the pair had acted inappropriately.
However, on Monday, Alicia's husband took to Instagram to clarify that he was not bothered by the fact that the two performers embraced on stage.
"Y'all talking about the wrong damn thing," the rapper and record producer wrote alongside a photo of his wife on stage at the Super Bowl. "y'all don't see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium."
Swizz, 45, continued, "Tonight's performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don't do negative vibes on this side we make history."
Swizz and the Girl on Fire hitmaker, 43, have been married since 2010. They have two children together, Egypt and Genesis.
Alicia made a guest appearance during Usher's Super Bowl set in addition to Will.i.am, Ludacris, Lil Jon and H.E.R.
