Take That close Coronation concert after star-studded bash celebrates King Charles

Spectacular live show saw acts from around the globe perform to see in the new monarch’s reign.

Fans were treated to a spectacular show to mark the end of King Charles III weekend of celebrations around his Coronation.

Attendees at the 20,000 strong concert held in the grounds of Windsor Castle witnessed a one of a kind sensory experience that saw talented performers from around the globe take to the stage to herald in the new monarch’s reign.

From homegrown to global chart stars as well as iconic talents from theatre, dance and the movies, the show saw King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince George and Princess Charlotte take up their seats as they were treated to a spectacular two-hour extravaganza.

Iconic DJ Pete Tong opened the show to the sounds of his Ibiza anthem - Rudimental’s collaboration with John Newman Feel The Love.

Olly Murs continued the good vibes as he got the audience moving to his hit Dance With Me Tonight.

The singer was flanked by dancers as he put on a high energy display for the King And Royal family.

Former Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger then stunned viewers with her ranging vocals as she took to the stage to sing Disney classic Reflections from Mulan.

The performance saw fans take to Twitter to heap praise on her for her incredible adaptation of the track against the backdrop of Windsor Castle.

A special enactment of Romeo and Juliet was also on the cards for King Charles with members of the Royal Ballet dancing alongside the delivery

Members of the Community Choir also took to the stage with heroic NHS staff singing alongside fellow performers from all around the country.

US superstar Katy Perry got Princess Charlotte out of her seat and singing along as she performed her hit’s Roar and Firework in a regal metallic gold gown.

Viewers were delighted when Muppets stars Miss Piggy and Kermit The Frog turned up to perform a skit alongside Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville who unwittingly found himself being proposed to by Miss Piggy.

Take That headlined the event delivering an array of their biggest hits as the crowd - including the Royals all got on their feet to sing along and wave their handheld Union Jack flags.

Elsewhere appearances were made by Top Gun star Tom Cruise as he offered the King an opportunity to be his “wingman any time,” James Nesbit, and Winnie The Pooh.

Prince William also took to the stage to pay homage to his father and give a nod to his late grandmother the Queen as he reminded the crowd that she was “fondly keeping an eye us.”
