The band - whose special guests will be The Script and Sugababes - said: "We’re so excited to be back together and that BST Hyde Park will be the first stage we perform on in almost four years.

“We have incredible memories of playing there in 2016, and we can’t wait to see everyone in July.”

They tweeted that it would be their "only UK show next year".

The boys had previously teased the news by posting pictures on Instagram of them performing at the event six years ago.

"BST Hyde Park 2016 was one of the Greatest Day(s)," they captioned the shots.

"How many of you #Thatters were there? How incredible would it be if we could do it all over again..."
